Today I sang and played Terrified by Kara DioGuardi & Jason Reeves (prolly about, 100 times, I kid you not!) on guitar from 3pm to 7pm (I was planning to upload a video of it onto like, Facebook or something). It took like, 60 takes to get a decent shoot, without me messing anything up. But I'm still not satisfied yet. Here I am with a sore throat and a sore arm (and fingers). I shall continue tomorrow. Hopefully I don't say the wrong words. Or make up my own lines. Again.
(It was fun though! :D)
Went for this mid-autumn festival thing 'round Ee Laine's place. I didn't think it would be a big event, but apparently the whole neighbourhood was invited! I brought Joos along, and we mainly walked around aimlessly in the park while the other kids played with fire and the adults talked about what adults talk about.
There was actually supposed to be a lantern walk but that was a total failure. It started raining a few minutes after they left, thank goodness Joos and I decided to stay at the park.
The rain got heavier by the second, and the one and only tent was totally packed, so I came up with this
super intelligent idea to take cover in the playground. You know, under one of those slide things. It kind of worked, but there were holes above us and people were taking cover there so we got dirt + acidic rain all over ourselves. And Joohi started yelling things like the insane woman she is (when the boys who were above us were gone) without realizing that this semi-cute (he's OK-looking laaaa) teenage guy came over and he was just like, "HALOO," and we were laughing so hard I think we made it more embarrassing, and he was like, "aren't you guys getting wet down there?" and I was like, "yeah" and that was it.
I just realized that some of this sounds pretty obscene.
THINK STRAIGHT, PEOPLE.
So after that we decided to run to the tent and Joohi hit her head (tsk tsk). Basically we were semi-soaked, and we just went home after that. So much for a celebration. But with that said, I think it was one of the most fun moments we've had, ever. And that's saying something. Because we crack up every single time. :D We need our own movie. Seriously.
On another note, my dad brought my iPod back! They couldn't fix it, but that's alright. It was totally uncharged though, because I was planning on raping it hardcore (HEHEHE). I can't believe I survived three weeks without it. Oh hot daaaamn.
AND MY WEEKEND IS GOING TO BE JAM-PACKED T
HIS WEEK. I'm not exactly happy about that, but whatever. My mum signed me up for these guitar seminars and concerts (the concerts are fine, but 8-hour seminars? Boo). Oh well.
Two more weeks. Oh right I set a paper lantern on fire tonight. It was weird and hilarious at the same time because Joos and I tried to blow the fire out but obviously that didn't work. And we were sort of panicking but we just looked at it. Eventually I ran off to one of the mothers but they just laughed. Hmm. It went out by itself later on.
Another thing. D, I'm not sure if you read my blog. I don't think you even know I have one. But this is for you. I know we haven't talked in like a year? But it's like you've forgotten about all the stuff we've been through two years back. It kinda sucks, I gotta admit. Weird how all that family-ness we had is gone. You used to be all hyped up about my songs (which by the way, you were one of the FIRST to read them...I even wrote two songs about you. Do you remember?), and now that I've actually done something with them you don't bother replying my email? Right. OK. Yes, it does hurt. I shall talk to Alina about this. Girl, I know how you feel now ):
There's school tomorrow. Damnit.
